Malfa marina ACCROPODE™ project, Scalo Galera in Salina island - Sicily
This ambitious project involves the fabrication and placement of hundreds of 40 tons ACCROPODE™ units of the first generation. The newly built Port will accommodate more boats to boost tourism and will also improve access to the island. Our Client, the Comune Di Malfa along with the Regione Sicilia, has understood the challenges associated with this project. This is why it has decided, with the agreement of the Contractor, to have CLI at its side.
CLI has been commissioned to provide technical assistance to the Contractor as well as the certification of the armour layer thanks to its engineering service : the Compliance Certificate. Placing 16 m3 ACCROPODE™ units in accordance with the technology standards is challenging, with limited operational means on this remote island. Therefore, CLI shares its deep knowledge gained through 380 projects already completed all around the world, to achieve the quality standards required by the ACCROPODE™ renown trademark
